This simple 2500sf, 2 bedroom house serves as the guest suite for a 13 acre horse farm estate near Oyster Watcha Pond on Martha’s Vineyard.

The linear form of the main volume of the guest house serves as a screen that allows light, views and ocean breezes to flow through, maintaining the continuity of the Meadow. The house is rendered in a palette of naturally weathering materials- all in shades of gray. They include; cedar shingles, gray metal roof, bluestone flooring and mahogany screens and decking. The large open South facing deck organizes the individual ‘rooms’ of the Guest Suite around the primary space- the outdoor living room.
